Delete your account

You can ask us to delete your Slayd account and the personal data linked to it.

How to ask

The Slayd app does not have a “delete account” button yet. For now, delete your account by email:

  1. Email support@slayd.app with the subject “Delete my account”.
  2. Write from the email address on your account, or tell us the phone number and name on it, so we can check it is you. Never send your password.
  3. If you own a shop, say so. Shops need a little more care (see below).
  4. We will confirm by email when it is done. [TIME YOU COMMIT TO, e.g. within 30 days]

This works even if you cannot open the app, for example if you lost your phone.

What we delete

  • Your profile: name, email, phone number and photo.
  • Your posts, comments, likes, follows, saves and wishlist.
  • Your reviews and messages. [CONFIRM: DELETED, OR KEPT WITHOUT YOUR NAME]
  • Your push token and notification settings.
  • If you own a shop: the shop, its styles, products and photos, and your shop verification files. The photo files are removed from storage.

What we may have to keep

  • Payment, deposit, refund and payout records, and the bookings and orders they relate to, for accounting, tax and dispute reasons. [HOW LONG]
  • Records of reports and our decisions about them, where needed to keep others safe. [HOW LONG]
  • Anything we are legally required to keep.

Kept records are used only for those purposes.

Before you ask

  • Cancel any upcoming bookings you do not want. Deposits are refunded in full when you cancel.
  • Shop owners: any money still owed to you will be paid out or dealt with first. Tell us if you are waiting for a payout.
  • Deleting your account cannot be undone.
