Questions
Is Slayd free to use?
Yes for clients. For shops, Slayd is free to join while we launch, with no commission on bookings.
How do I pay?
With mobile money (MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash or AirtelTigo Money) or a card, through our payment partner Paystack. Some shops ask for a small deposit, which you pay when you book. If a shop does not ask for one, you pay in the app once your service is complete.
What if I need to cancel?
Open the Bookings tab and tap Cancel. You can cancel any time while your booking is waiting for the shop or confirmed. If you paid a deposit, it is refunded in full when you cancel, and also when you reschedule. A deposit is only kept by the shop if the shop marks you as a no-show.
How do shops get verified?
Shops send their details to us for review: a phone number we can call, photos of the shop, and the shop’s location. A business registration certificate is optional. We check them before giving the verified badge. Shops that are not verified are not shown to clients.
Where can I use Slayd?
We are starting in Ghana, beginning in Accra.
How do I delete my account?
The app does not have a delete button yet. Email support@slayd.app from the address or phone number on your account, or use our Delete your account page for the steps.
