Draft. This document is a working draft and has not yet been reviewed by a Ghanaian lawyer. Items shown like [this] are still to be filled in.

Slayd works when clients and shops can trust what they see and each other. These rules apply to everything you post or do on Slayd.

Be honest

  • Show your own work. Only post photos and videos you took or have permission to use. Do not pass off someone else’s work as yours.
  • Keep prices, times and descriptions true.
  • Write reviews only about visits you actually had, and describe them fairly. Do not write or ask for fake reviews, or pay for good ones.
  • Do not pretend to be another person or shop.

Be respectful

  • No harassment, bullying, threats, hate or discrimination, including on the basis of race, tribe, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or appearance.
  • Criticise the service, not the person. Keep comments and messages civil.
  • Do not share someone’s private information, or a photo of a person, without their permission.

Keep it safe and legal

  • No nudity or sexual content, graphic violence, or content that exploits or endangers children.
  • Nothing illegal, and nothing that sells illegal or dangerous goods.
  • No scams, no asking people to pay outside Slayd to avoid deposits, and no unwanted payment requests.
  • No spam, repeated posts, or misleading links.
  • Do not try to break, scrape or misuse Slayd.

Posts and photos

  • Posts, style photos and product photos should show hair, barber and related beauty work, products or your shop.
  • Photos should be clear and show the real result. Do not use pictures that are misleading.
  • Get a client’s permission before posting a photo of them.

Bookings

  • Turn up on time, or cancel or reschedule in the app as early as you can. Shops: turn up and keep to confirmed times.
  • Treat each other with respect at the shop or home visit.

Reporting a problem

If you see a post, comment or user that breaks these rules, report it in the app, or email support@slayd.app. We review reports.

What we may do

We may remove content, hide a shop, limit features, or suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, depending on how serious it is. See our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
